We're making a change to our billing provider

As part of our commitment to ongoing improvements, we’re making some changes to our billing provider. There will be minimal impact to you and your direct debit membership at Craigie Leisure Centre as a result of this change, and below is all of the important information you need to know.

Here’s what’s changing from Thursday 29 August 2024 

  • Craigie Leisure Centre will change billing provider to Debitsuccess,
  • Your direct debit service agreement will be updated (read more below) and
  • You will have a new transaction reference on your bank statement for your direct debit payments.

Please note, this change is to the billing provider only. There will be no change to your direct debit day, fortnightly payment amount or frequency of payment.

WHAT'S CHANGING?

WHY ARE YOU MAKING THIS CHANGE?

We remain committed to making ongoing improvements to our products, services and experiences. Later this year, Craigie Leisure Centre will implement a new point of sale software system, which will bring improvements to your in-centre and online experience. The change in billing provider is the first step in these improvements.

WHO IS DEBITSUCCESS?

Debitsuccess is one of the largest direct debit initiators in Australasia. The company is an Authorised Representative (AR 407894) of Transaction Services Holdings Limited (AFSL 338256) within the Australian Financial Services Licensing Regime, Level I PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliant and independently certified and externally audited.

Debitsuccess involvement as the billing provider is for the sole purpose of completing the direct debit arrangement for your membership.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR MY DIRECT DEBIT?

•    Your direct debit will continue to be processed from your nominated bank account every fortnight. 
•    You are not required to change your bank details in MyFit.

WILL MY DIRECT DEBIT DAY CHANGE?

No. Your direct debit will continue to be processed every second Wednesday as per your current payment schedule.

WILL MY DIRECT DEBIT AMOUNT CHANGE?

No. Your direct debit amount will not change. Any change to membership or account fees are endorsed by the City of Joondalup council and will be communicated ahead of time.

WILL MY DIRECT DEBIT FREQUENCY CHANGE?

No. Your direct debit will continue to be processed fortnightly on a Wednesday.

DO I NEED TO UPDATE MY CREDIT CARD OR BANK ACCOUNT DETAILS?

No. You are not required to make any change to your current financial information. If you would like to update your credit card or bank account, please contact our team on 9400 4600.

WILL THERE BE ANY FEES TO USE DEBITSUCCESS?

No. You will not incur any additional fees from Debitsuccess as a result of this change.

WHO WILL BE MANAGING MY ACCOUNT AT CRAIGIE LEISURE CENTRE?

Craigie Leisure Centre will remain as the sole operator of your account with us. Our new billing provider’s responsibility is solely to process the periodic payment set out in your agreement.

WILL MY INFORMATION BE SECURE?

Our team will always prioritise the safety of our members’ information. Craigie Leisure Centre will continue to be the sole operators of your account. Debitsuccess will not have access to any personal or account information, other than those provided in your original DDR. 

Debitsuccess, as the billing provider, will only be engaged to process the payment.

When your data is migrated to Debitsuccess, the data will be locked and encrypted, meaning no one will be able to access specific file information.

The data being migrated will then be uploaded to Debitsuccess, without any visibility to other users.

IS DEBITSUCCESS SAFE TO USE?

Debitsuccess Pty Limited (ACN: 095 551 581) (Debitsuccess) APCA User ID 184534 maintains the same level of payment handling security as major banks and is an authorised billing provider.

WILL MY TERMS AND CONDITIONS CHANGE?

Yes. The Direct Debit Request (DDR) Service Agreement available here will replace the current DDR in place with your existing account.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISS A DIRECT DEBIT WITH DEBITSUCCESS?

There will be no change to the missed payment process. If you miss a direct debit payment, your account will be overdue, you will incur a $15.00 fee and your access may be restricted until your overdue amount has been paid.

You will not incur any additional late fees from Debitsuccess.
